Welcome to Tsuta, a renowned ramen brand that has earned a Michelin star for its unique and elevated approach to this classic dish. Located in the vibrant DUMBO area of Brooklyn, Tsuta offers a modern and clean atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal with friends or family.
One of the standout dishes at Tsuta is the Truffle Shoyu Soba, which infuses truffle flavor into the broth for a luxurious and indulgent experience. While some customers have noted that they would prefer a more intense truffle flavor, the combination of thin soba noodles with a slightly nutty taste creates a harmonious balance.
Customer reviews rave about the quality and taste of the ramen at Tsuta, with many calling it one of the best meals they've had in New York. The tonkotsu soba and shio ramen are also highly recommended options, showcasing the variety and depth of flavors available at this Michelin-starred establishment.
While some have noted that the pricing for toppings at Tsuta can be on the higher side, the authenticity and dedication to traditional Japanese flavors are appreciated by those who enjoy a more authentic ramen experience. Overall, Tsuta offers a unique and elevated dining experience for ramen enthusiasts looking for something special.

I totally loved it. Great lunch combo for a great price. Had fried chicken appetizer, Ramen, and then mochi ice cream. Really, really good. It's nice and modern, clean, the Waitress was so, so nice. This place needs more stars.

Tsuta Ramen is one of the first Michelin starred Ramen chains hailing from Japan serving a unique style of ramen. This is one of the only US locations and is in DUMBO area. Tsuta is most well known for their truffle shoyu soba which uses soba noodles and infuses truffle flavor into the broth. The Truffle Shoyu Soba had hints of truffle flavor but I would've preferred a more intense flavor into the broth. The soba noodles were thin and had a slightly nutty flavor which complemented the broth. Overall, I'd consider trying Tsuta if you love truffles or are looking for an elevated unique ramen style.

This is probably one of the best meals we had while in New York. We also tried multiple Michelin Star restaurants and again, this was the best out of the others. My gf and I braved the rain to get here right when they opened! I got the tonkotsu soba and I believe she got the shio. We also discovered Brooklyn Kira sake! All in all I would def come back!

I've been curious why the new US location of the Michelin starred @tsutaus has a bad rating on Google Maps, and after trying it my guess is that they didn't cater towards US audience to adjust the flavor to be more western friendly, and therefore most people here might not like this type of ramen flavors (I feel like shio and shoyu are more popular in Japan and not outside). I actually do like both of these broth, and appreciate the effort to upkeep the authenticity. Shio has a lighter and more vegetable flavors, where as shoyu brings out the black truffle flavors well. However, there is no way to justify their pricing of $4 per topping, and the chashu topping that came with the ramen wasn't good either. It's also ridiculous to have to wait for a bowl of ramen for 20-30 minutes.
